Our aim is to be expert archers as we point the children in the right direction and hit the bull’s eye for the Kingdom of God- kids who know, love and serve God.
Its is time to invest in the future of our next generation. “We spend too much energy trying to heal adults (therapeutic approach) and too little trying to shape the minds and futures of the children.”
-Robert Botha
The leaders of the next generation will have to live a life of discipleship; a life that is sensible; and a life committed to doing what is right, just and fair. If our children are set off in the right direction, they will realise that imitating Christ is a fun-filled and entertaining lifestyle:
- a life lived in love (Eph. 5:1-2)
- a life of humility (Phil. 2:5-8)
- a life of mercy (Isiah 53)
- a life of acceptance (Jn. 15:12-14)
- a life of commitment (Matt. 16:24-25)
- a life of courage (Matt. 26:50-56)
- a life of diligence (Lk. 18:1-8)
A Child correctly trained according to the Lords instruction, “will give you rest and he will be a delight to your heart.” (Prov. 29:17), and the “glory of children is their fathers” (17:6).
